We've been busy as a bee this week! We finished up school last week and I thought we'd have a little calm before we head to vacation but alas, that was not the case. Oh well I guess we got through it and are looking forward to the long, fun-filled weekend! Started off with a work picnic today. I think the kids managed to jump(bounce house) the whole time we were there! James played some ball and joined me in the stitches department; I'm sure he wouldn't recommend catching the ball with your knee ;) He started playing softball again a few weeks ago and the kids talk about it all-the-time. So I talked to my parents and they've made arrangements for the older 3 to play ball this summer. The older 4 are going to spend much of the summer in grandparent land-they are so looking forward to it!!
Yesterday we came home to the trees being trimmed around the house. I couldn't have planned it any better. They had finished trimming the tree limbs close to the house, so the kids were able sit on the back deck and watch the action. It kept them entertained for quite awhile. I mean climbing trees and cutting limbs, moving buckets on trucks...what more could a boy ask for?
I leave you with 2 blog links today.
Raw milk. What do you know about it? I've never had it but read alot about it. Find it crazy that it's illegal to sell in some states. Here's a recent thing going on in court about raw milk. This line should get you going: "Plaintiffs do not have a fundamental right to obtain any food they wish" Really, the government is going there.
