My oldest was on photo duty yesterday. It was a job he took on with relish; though I have to admit I was afraid he'd run the battery out before he got any shots of us dancing!

This one gives you an idea of some of the conditions of our surroundings. When we dance here we have people on all sides of us and some standing on hotel balconies to watch. It's really rather odd...

This was when we were running through "Salt and Light". It's always different to dance in the sand and bright sun, the balance is totally different. As you can tell by the expressions one of the guys that runs the service here was talking to us and totally distracting us! The actual performance went much smoother;)



The boy took several candid shots. It cracked me up to see what he took.
But seriously don't these haiku's make us look a bit like sheep dogs with the hidden eyes? :D Actually now that I look at it my head piece looks a little low in the back too :P

The goggles were a gift and they were a little disappointed the water was so stirred up that the couldn't see.

Easter Sunday

It was a rough weekend in our home. But let us start with some of the happy highlights.

This video may make you dizzy as it was filmed by my daughter. I danced at two services before our own church service. Here we are at the sunrise service at a harbor. Moms, young ladies and a keiki make up our group here.

On our Praise God list is the fact that #3 safely made it home with help on Saturday after he wandered off.

On the other hand-
#1 has a broken tooth thanks to an impatient sibling who pushed him out of the way into a door. We've been at dental offices today as many people have looked at it. At this point he will be a plastic 'fix'. After he has braces in the future they will do a more permanent fix. Poor kid has such a sad looking mouth.

Ack, those are just some 'highlights' of the weekend. Thank goodness we can lean on our Lord and Savior when things are trying to get us down.

My Mother has been asking for some belly photos so I post this to try to appease her a bit as one still has not been taken. Although I must admit this one is not good of either of us, ack frumpy comes to mind. Also must say in my defense it depends on what I wear as to how big I look....in this tent shirt how could I look anything but big? I am 19 weeks along right now. Baby is moving all over the place these days.




Uncle Richard is home....hip hip hooray!! He has been deployed nearly forever. This was last week with him trying *wink* to read a book to the little guys.




#2 Danced at another church yesterday. Same song as posted below but different wear and a different mix of the kids. This has been the first church outside of base that has asked for them to dance. Praise the Lord that the girls were able to share their love of the Lord in this way.

See this photo, it frustrates me. Why? Not the subject matter but the way it is side ways. Why is it sideways? Anyone? In my photo album in looks normal so why does it come out funny?

The 14th was a nice day with scattering rain droplets abound. We decided to spend some time outdoors, James and I had been able to spend the morning together while the kids enjoyed decorating cookies with their favorite sitter. So I was a little tired in the afternoon but wanted to get the family out of doors. Hmm, where to go where I can relax and yet let the kids to run around? Oh yes, the beach! So besides coming home covered in sand(them from rolling around in it and us from being pelted by it when the wind gusts got us) we had a very enjoyable afternoon:)
