That is what my 3 year old was singing this morning(along to the radio) as we started our day. How true and what a great way to turn my mind and cares to Him. To hear my sweet little guy singing these words with all his might. We dropped the boys off at a friends home and they seem to have had a great day visiting -we will have to make an effort to get together more often!
James, #2 and I set off for the hospital where we got to wait. They had taken her off the admitting list and put her on the wait list, apparently there were no beds available. Weren't sure if we were going to get in today and of course the thought goes through mind(as I'm sure it would any parents mind) well maybe she's not suppose to have the surgery and everything is ok. Then all a sudden the nurse comes in and says they'll take us and they want us NOW. So we speed through all the paperwork and head to OR. #2 is skipping down the hallway, she hasn't a care in the world. She did wonderful, they were able to give her the sleeping gas before any IV's so she was a pretty happy girl. We head off to the waiting room. Then decide to go grab something from the cafeteria to eat as we hadn't had breakfast and the little snack food we brought wasn't going to tide us over until the afternoon. As we are heading back to the waiting room I see a dr walk across the hall and think to myself 'that looks alot like #2's dr. Turns out it was, she was done already. The doc couldn't find anything to remove! Yes, you heard that right!! The mass that has been showing up on all the testings, the latest test was done last week-and since that test it has disappeared!! Thank you Lord for healing !! Thank you everyone for your prayers!!! I am so happy and excited that The Lord has not only healed #2 but he gave her such a good day. She wasn't filled with all the anxiety as last time and did so very well. Praise the Lord!!
Oh, did I mention- she did so well she is at home now. No overnight stays for us, she is sleeping comfortably in her bed.

I've got pictures!
Nothing like my husband's presence to make my computer act normal. I did the same thing that I did yesterday but like usual just because he was watching, it worked as it should. If only I could box that magic up and sell it!

#2 with all her goodies friends and family blessed her with.

Our try at a family photo.

One doesn't visit in awhile and they change everything
on you. Blogger changed the way to sign in on me!
Anyway sorry again for my absence. I've been trying to catch up...although the truth is since my mom was able to come up and help out there wasn't so much to catch up with house wise(Thanks again mom!!) It was more of an attitude change and a regrouping. Still a work in progress both for me and the children. When the "norm" doesn't happen for awhile they seem to take awhile to 'wrangle' in again.
Adding into the factor of things is we have been planning to put the house on the market in the next couple of months and now we may not be doing so. In fact there is a possibility we may be here another 1-3 years. So all the things I was thinking in that regard are all changed up.......the best of plans..... Ah, just reminds me of who is in control of things and no I don't mean the Navy I mean someone quite higher. Only the Lord knows what his plans for us our.
So here is a quick catch up in pictures. Or not. I don't seem able to post pictures tonight so hopefully tomorrow when I am more awake I can figure out why and get it working.

#2 is home and sleeping right now.
It's good to have everyone back under the same roof! She's doing well, pretty much back to her usual self and glad to be home. She had another Ultrasound done yesterday which led to a MRI today. She still has some unknown tissue/mass in her belly. Right now we have 1 1/2 weeks of oral antibiotics and then a follow up check. They will do another ultrasound then and if this area under question is still there then what will probably happen is scheduling surgery so they can go in and get a piece of this tissue to test and find out what it is.
That's the short and sweet of it, I'm off to bed.

Good News
1. My mom is flying in this evening(both our families offered to come out and Saturday we decided we would take them up on the offer)
2. This is likely the last day of IV antibiotics for #2. They are going to give her oral antibiotics tomorrow and if all goes well she should be coming home Thursday!
The things we still aren't sure about is when they will take her central line out. They may do it after she does fine on the oral meds but they could keep it in until her checkup if the think she'll need it again. Also the surgeon has said he'd like to do another CT scan because the infection was so bad he couldn't see her ovary. When we went into surgery they had thought she had a tumor on the left ovary, so he wants to make sure everything else is normal.
#2 is doing better, she still has some pain but is eating more and we got her walking a little more yesterday.
Here she is blowing some bubbles. The nurse wanted her to do this so she'd take some deep breathes because she was only breathing with the top half of her body. She wasn't really interested in doing so but then little brother came to visit and who can resist him!

Update
It's been awhile since you have heard from us. We have been dealing with a sick child. #2 had been complaining about her tummy hurting, we assumed that she caught another bug(February wasn't the best month health wise, kept catching colds). After it didn't go away like we thought it should we sought medical help. She under went many tests.....Tuesday night we were finally able to get an ultrasound of her belly which showed a 2 inch mass above her belly. She has laparoscopic surgery Wednesday. Turns out she had a big nasty infection going on, an unrachal cyst had burst. She is on antibiotics and still has a drain connected to her. Thursday she had a PICC put into her arm so now they are able to do blood draws and give her the IV fluids and antibiotics through that.
Her white blood cell count is coming down and we look to be in the hospital at least another couple days.
She's walking around some, and starting to eat a little, unhappy to be in the hospital, real unhappy with all the doctors and nurses. We played a couple games last night and she was pretty perky then.
James and I are doing ok, we've gotten some help with the boys and are doing our best to cope. It's so hard to see your child in the hospital, she's pretty sensitive to touch and hasn't dealt really well with all the needles and such, which just about breaks my heart.
Yesterday we had a little trouble with the central line, someone unhooked her the wrong way but it was fixed fairly easy. James left the hospital yesterday afternoon and got a flat tire on the way home. Definitely feel like we are being tested here. Thankfully we have a pretty good support system here and know we and #2 are being held up in prayer by many people.
Will update as I am able, we haven't been able to get online a the hospital.
